Benefits and Application

NARA was founded in 1978 to serve as the trade association to represent the interests of Medicare-certified rehabilitation agencies and multidisciplinary rehabilitation businesses that treat Medicare patients. Membership provides you with invaluable legislative and regulatory information along with educational and networking opportunities. In addition, as a member of NARA you will receive:

  • Discounted registration fees to NARA's annual conference
  • NARA News, which is published 4 times per year
  • Access to vendor products and services that are specific to rehabilitation agencies
  • Representation on Capitol Hill by NARA's legal counsel
  • Timely legislative alerts and updates with relevant industry information
  • A membership certificate and Code of Ethics

NARA offers four types of memberships:

Elite Level ($5000 per year)

Elite Membership is for organizations who want to gain valuable national exposure to thousands of rehabilitation professionals (PT,OT,SLP's), receive special discounts and recognitions, as well as become an exclusive member of our "Legal Network", opening direct access to NARA's counsel/lobbyist and out efforts. The yearly fee for an Elite Membership Status is $5,000.

Benefits:

  • Organization's logo and website address are posted on the NARA website with a link to the organization's website, allowing for promotional opportunities for recruitment and marketing efforts
  • Become an exclusive member of George C. Olsen's, Esq. Legal Network, providing direct access to mr. Olsen, including special phone conferences regarding up to the minute legislative issues that affect the rehabilitation service provider
  • Participateion in NARA's "Recruiting Network Consortium"
  • Additional organization employees may attend conferences at a 25% discounted rate
  • Conference promotional signage and recognition
  • Unlimited access to the NARA Career Center


Gold Level ($3000 per year)

  • Associate membership in NARA for one year
  • One tabletop exhibit space at a NARA conference with one complimentary registration
  • One marketing piece into the conference attendee packets at both NARA conferences (Fall & Spring)
  • Corporate sponsor listing in all NARA publications, including conference brochures
  • One quarter-page ad in each issue of NARA e-Newsletters
  • One banner ad on the NARA website
  • Two sets of NARA member mailing labels (mailing copy to be approved by NARA)


Active Level (cost varies)

An Active Member is a Medicare certified rehabilitation agency or a multidisciplinary rehabilitation business that treats Medicare patients. Active members have the right to appoint one representative to vote at the Annual Business Meeting of the association.

  • $975        1-10 employees
  • $1675      11-30 employees
  • $2275      31-50 employees
  • $3100      Over 50 employees

There is a payment plan for Active members who wish to pay their dues on a quarterly basis.


Associate Level ($600 per year)

An Associate Member is a rehabilitation industry vendor or any industry-related organization or individual who is not eligible for Active member status. Associate members enjoy all Active Member benefits with the exception of voting privileges at the NARA annual membership meeting.

  • Associate members may participate on NARA committees.
  • Associate members who are health care vendors are extended advertising and conference exhibit discounts.
  • Associate members are eligible to serve as board members-at-large
  • Associate members are offered extended advertising and conference exhibit discounts
