Therapy Cap Coalition Places Ad in Politico

November 19, 2014 On November 18th, NARA along with several other associations including APTA, AOTA, ASHA, AHCA, Leading Age, NASL, submitted a letter to Chairman Wyden and Ranking Member Hatch of the Senate Finance Committee.  The letter urged for a long term solution to the therapy cap and the repeal of the SGR.  During yesterdays audio conference, George shared with us information regarding the 114th Congress with its new members being sworn into office on January 3, 2015 and meeting on January 6, 2015.  The current Congress will be in Lame Duck session.  While we hope they will address the Medicare Access to Rehabilitation Services legislation during this time, it is not likely.  Click here for the full letter.
