NARA’S ANNUAL SPRING CONFERENCE TO PROVIDE VITAL INFORMATION FOR THE SUCCESS OF REHABILITATION PROVIDERS & BUSINESSES
The National Association of Rehabilitation Providers & Agencies (NARA) will be hosting its annual Spring Conference in Washington, D.C. May 19 – 21, 2010. NARA, based in Washington, D.C., is a trade association that has supported the knowledge and advocacy of hundreds of rehabilitation therapy providers and agencies throughout the country for over 30 years.
NARA offers the annual Spring Conference in an effort to facilitate and support visits to legislators on Capital Hill, as well as, provide the most current legislative, regulatory updates, and interpretations specific to the rehabilitation therapy businesses.
“This year is more critical than ever for providers and businesses to unite and participate in activity and discussion on Capital Hill during a most challenging economical time and suspected unprecedented changes to the healthcare and rehabilitation therapy industries,” commented Gregg J. Altobella, President of the association.
NARA’s recent conferences and trends in membership participation have been “indicators of the growing challenges that rehabilitation providers and businesses are facing,” explained Mr. Altobella. This Spring Conference will once again feature a “Pre-Conference” to allow networking and discussion of challenges, strategies and actions of experts and businesses providing rehabilitation therapy service in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient centers, specifically reviewing changes to the MDS and HIPPA processes.
