CMS has implemented two new payment models that are changing the how providers in multiple settings are managing patient care and outcomes in the new way. This new focus is challenging therapists to shift their focus to patient-centered care causing a restructure in plans of care.  During this webinar we will review both PDPM and PDGM; examine areas affected by PDGM; and identify the need to develop a Preferred Post-Acute Continuum along with other strategies that will attendees to successfully approach changes in both models.

Course Objectives:

  1. Explain the differences between individual, group and concurrent therapy
  2. Explain the ethics involved with choosing the most effective mode of treatment
  3. Identify clinical rationales for developing the patient plan of care
  4. Identify different service options therapist can develop for attaining goals
  5. Explain how different modes of treatment can impact quality indicators

CEUs - must be logged into webinar under registered name and complete the course assessment to be eligible for CEUs.  SLPs must complete and return the ASHA Participant form.
