What are your or your teams’ unique skills?  What services do you provide to achieve the best patient outcomes?  Are there patients who could benefit from your expertise to increase their quality of life?  Use your unique skills, expertise, services, and attributes to advocate for current and potential patients!  In this session, occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech-language pathologists will develop their “brand” and then examine how to communicate and market a personal or team brand for enhanced patient identification and advocacy, as well as, promotion of their profession, facility, or business.    

Course Objectives

  1. Identify your personal brand including areas of clinical expertise
  2. Identify your interprofessional team brand including areas of clinical expertise
  3. Develop a marketing plan for your individual or interprofessional practice

  1. Welcome and Learning Objectives (2:00 – 2:02pm)
  2. Personal Branding: recognizing your unique skill set with exercise (2:02 – 2:30pm)
  3. Team Branding: Harmonizing skill sets (2:30 – 2:50pm)
  4. How to Develop a Marketing Plan for You and Your Team (2:50 – 3:20pm)
  5. Questions & Answers (3:20 – 3:30pm)

Handouts are available  in the attendee panel the day of the webinar.

Reminder: In order to be eligible for CEUs, you must be registered and logged in under the name on the registration and complete the assessment for the webinar within 1 week of the webinar.  If you are seeking ASHA CEUs, you must submit the ASHA Participant Form.

CEUs are all processed at the same time and your certificate will be emailed to you based on your eligibility.  For NARA members, CEU certificates are uploaded to your folder in the Document Share under Member Directory.
