Jordan Bowman, MA, CCC-SLP, obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Ohio University and her Master of Arts in Speech –Language Pathology from the University of Akron. She is a Regional Clinical Director (RCD) for Genesis Rehabilitation Services (GRS) where she analyzes the educational training needs of a customer for accurate identification of interprofessional clinical growth opportunities. In collaboration with other RCDs from a variety of disciplines, Jordan supports GRS in the development of corporate and regional education for speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, and wellness coordinators.  Jordan’s commitment to advocating for adults with communication disabilities through speech-language pathology services and interprofessional practice has enhanced the communication competence of adults in long-term care rehabilitation settings.  She has presented at annual conventions for several professional associations on interprofessional clinical topics including pain management, mild cognitive impairment, mindfulness, branding and marketing, and dementia.  Jordan is highly involved in her profession and is the current Vice President for ISHA’s Division of Professional Services and the current Illinois State Advocate for Medicare Policy representative for ASHA. Her areas of passion and expertise include mild cognitive impairment, dementia, voice and Parkinson’s Disease, mindfulness and wellness, and interprofessional practice.  Financial: Ms. Bowman has no relevant financial relationship. Alyssa Thrush, DPT, began her career in physical therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in 2001.  After practicing as a PTA for 9 years, Alyssa continued her education and earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Wichita State University in 2010.  Alyssa has continued her professional development with extensive education in geriatrics.  She is currently a Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy (GCS) and Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA) through the American Physical Therapy Association.  Alyssa has spoken at several local and national conferences including LeadingAge, American Occupational Therapy Association, and American Speech-Language and Hearing Association on Geriatric related topics such as Dementia, The Medically Complex Patient, and Interprofessional Practice.  As a Physical Therapist and Regional Clinical Director at Genesis Rehab Services, Alyssa is an expert in the evaluation and treatment of the medically complex patient, fall risk management, and interprofessional practice.  She also provides education on documentation excellence, functional assessments and evidence-based practice, fall risk management, dementia, reducing hospital readmissions, as well as, clinical strategy, programming and development.  Financial: Ms. Thrush has no relevant financial relationship.
