PT and OT Evaluation Codes: An Update

It has been just over 18 months since the stratified physical and occupational therapy evaluation codes became effective. CMS has not indicated to date when (or if) the reimbursement will change for these codes. During this webinar we will do a brief review of the different levels of complexity in the codes and some of the guidelines for proper code selection; we will review data collected by the APTA and AOTA on usage of the codes and how it differs based on therapy setting; and finally we will have current cases we will review and code utilizing the guidelines.
By the end of this course, attendees will be able to:
Summarize the data collected by setting
List factors in treatment and documentation that impact the code selection
Assess staff documentation for correct evaluation coding
