In this course we will review the contracting and credentialing process. We will discuss how to obtain part b contracts as well as how to obtain part b contracts in addition to already established part a contracts. We will give a break down of the credentialing process for different provider types and how that impacts billing and claims.

We will then walk through the importance of the verification, authorization and eligibility check as well as some key changes that have happened over the last year in these areas. We will discuss the different process for verification and authorization checks depending on the location of the service - telehealth, home, office, snf, hospital, etc.

We will then review some of the proposed final rulings and final rule updates for 2022 as well as 2023 and how that will impact part b services.

We will take questions as it pertains to all things part b.
