What We Do Best

Welcome to NARA, where over 80,000 therapists and rehab providers find a home. With a mission to unite clinical excellence and successful business management, we're dedicated to sharing knowledge, support, and resources. As advocates for growth, we prioritize providing our members with invaluable benefits to positively impact their organizations. Delve into today's blog to find out more about what we do best here at NARA.

What is NARA?

The National Association of Rehab Providers & Agencies (NARA) stands as a dynamic force, representing therapists, rehab providers, and organizations spanning the rehabilitation landscape. Our membership includes rehab agencies, private practices, schools, athletic organizations, inpatient and adult living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities.

As NARA members, providers gain more than just access to educational opportunities; they become part of a community that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and advocacy. NARA's collective knowledge, fostered through networking and educational initiatives, empowers members to run their rehab businesses more efficiently, serving all stakeholders in the most effective ways.

Our Mission

NARA's mission is clear: to share knowledge, support, and resources in the Rehabilitation Industry, uniting clinical excellence and successful business management. We believe in the power of a collective voice, and we strive to create an environment where expertise meets effective business practices.

Why Become A NARA Member?

At NARA, we offer two types of memberships, one for therapy providers and one for therapy associates. Here are some of the membership benefits:

  • Promotes growth for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy providers through support and advocacy.
  • Creates a community of rehab providers fostering mutual assistance in enhancing their businesses.
  • Works closely with major associations such as the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to create awareness and support for individual disciplines.
  • Provides access to national conferences, webinars, collaborative calls, eblasts, and updates from Capitol Hill.

Collaboration

At NARA, we've cultivated a community where meaningful relationships can flourish, and members can learn from each other's wealth of experience. NARA membership opens doors to various collaboration opportunities, including special interest calls, town hall calls, live conferences, and participation in various committees.

Advocacy

Advocacy is at the heart of our mission. We work tirelessly to be strong advocates for our members, their businesses, and the communities they serve. Collaborating with other associations, we co-sign letters, attend meetings, and actively engage in the legislative process.

Education

Recognizing the ever-changing landscape of the healthcare industry, NARA is committed to providing educational opportunities that keep our members informed. From webinars to conferences, we ensure our members stay up to date with the latest information on legislation, regulation, and business operations.

When you choose to become a member of the National Association of Rehab Providers & Agencies, you join a committed community working to improve the rehabilitation industry for both patients and providers.
